Another Dumsor Time Table Out!! ECG Announces 22-Day ”Dumsor” For Some Parts Of Accra (Screenshot)

Latest report gathered by Pinaxnews.com indicates that the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has reported that some parts of Accra will encounter power blackouts for 22 days beginning from Monday, June 28, 2021.

The blackouts, as indicated by ECG, would permit the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) to finish the last phase of repair works on some mass supply points and transmission cables in the captial city.

The last phase of the maintenance and overhaul works, which starts on Monday, June 28, 2021, will see an upgrade in the Volta-Achimota-Mallam transmission lines. The activity will cause break in power supply around 71 networks inside Accra.

The places to be affected have been classified into 6 groups, every one of which will be without power from 6:00pm to 12:00am once per week inside the 22-day time frame which will last between June 28 and July 19, 2021.

Tending to a question and answer session on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, the Managing Director of ECG, Mr Kwame Agyeman-Budu engaged general society to hold on for the organization as they work to guarantee an improved service.
