My Fight With Tyson Fury Is Bigger Than Boxing, Bigger Than The Belts, It Has To Happen – Anthony Joshua Boldly Says

Heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua has expressed that ”It a must” for him to fight Tyson Fury regardless of what occurs in his next battle.

A court mediation in the US decided that Fury should battle Deontay Wilder causing the breakdown of the battle between Fury and Joshua.

Tyson Fury and Wilder will currently fight on July 24 in Las Vegas in a third WBC heavyweight title battle while Joshua will defend his IBF, WBA and WBO gold against the mandatory challenger Oleksandr Usyk in late September at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

As indicated by Joshua who is the WBO, IBO and IBF champion, Tyson’s group is to be faulted for their proposed battle not happening yet demands the world title bout ‘needs to happen’ later on in light of the fact that it is “bigger than boxing, bigger than the belts”.

These were a few of the comments Anthony Joshua passed in an interview with Sky Sports; ”Unfortunately his (Fury) team let the whole boxing world down. I will still be here, still ready to put on a show. End of the year. Let me get past Usyk first. But with or without Usyk in my life, I will fight Fury.

He further added; Usyk isn’t the be-all and end-all. Usyk doesn’t determine the Fury fight. The fury fight has to happen. It’s a big fight, bigger than boxing, bigger than the belts.”
