Sad!! Armed Robbers Murder Mobile Money Vendor At Okurase

Latest information gathered by Pinaxnews.com indicates that a mobile money operator has been shot dead by some armed robbers at Okorase close to Koforidua.

According to reports, the deceased, 36-year-old Solomon Arhin Prost was gunned down on June 20,201 at 11:14pm. He was shot dead whiles on his way home right after closing from work.

Solomon Arhin Prost was reportedly heading back home with his companion when they were assaulted by armed robbers. They decided to run run for their dear lives however, the deceased friend escaped unhurt.

As indicated by an an eyewitness ‘Mohammed Shaibu’, he heard gunshots while in his room however a couple of moments later he heard the casualty who had been running towards his home yelling for help. However, he emerged from his space to see the casualty lying in a recumbent situation in a pool of blood wearing dark shorts with a white shirt with wounds on his chest.

Two dark bags containing a whopping amount of GHC 8,290.30, One HP Laptop with charger, one Infinix phone, One Itel phone, two small itel phones, one pen drive, a modem, earpiece, and some bank reports were discovered lying alongside the person in question.

Police officers who visited the crime scene after an alert took stock of the crime location and passed on the casualty to St. Joseph Hospital where he was affirmed dead by the clinical Doctor working Dr. Benjamin Sam.

His body has been deposited at the funeral home of the same hospital.
