Recall that last month British Black lives matter activist, Sasha Johnson got shot by unknown men in the head during the early hours of May 23 in South South London, well according to a statement by the London Metropolitan Police, a second man has been charged in the shooting.
The man identified as Devonte Brown who is 18 years of age was charged with conspiracy to murder Johnson and was expected to appear at the Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
The police said it does not believe she was specifically targeted.
Police say the 27-year-old mother and a vocal campaigner of equal rights who rose to fame during Black Lives Matter protests last year remains in critical condition.
According to an earlier report by the police miss Johnson was shot during a house party around 3 a.m. when four men entered the garden of the property and discharged a firearm”.
