Ex-president John Agyekum Kufour has called on critics to stop the unnecessary insults and attacks they level on the CEO of ABN media group, Dr. Kwaku Oteng.
Speaking in an interview on Angel FM last Friday he noted that he doesn’t understand why Dr. Kwaku Oteng gets insulted by Ghanaians despite his efforts in contributing positively to the Ghanaian economy.
He stressed that the country needs more private people to develop the country because most private enterprises in the country have been destroyed.
”We have destroyed our private enterprises in the country and that is not the best, we need more of private people for the country to develop, so we should stop the unnecessary attacks on private businessmen like Dr. Kwaku Oteng, enough of the attacks on him,” he stated.
Dr. Kwaku Oteng for sometime now has come under public backlash following claims that the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) is pursuing him for his failure to pay tax.
“Kwaku Oteng is my son, I get shocked when people attack him, what at all has he done wrong? He is a gifted entrepreneur [and] we need more of him to develop the country…,” he stated.
He called on critics to stop attacking the man contributing positively to Ghana’s economy.
