Memeber of Parliament for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong and NPP stalwart has descended heavily on men of God and Christians who speak in tongues.
The MP described the clergymen as lazy and crazy people who have decided not to tell their members that the solution to their economic problems isn’t tongues and prayers but hardwork.
He couldn’t fathom on how the country could be fixed with such a mindset while addressing a gathering at a General Meeting of Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON ) of the University of Ghana.
As a pastor, priest preach for your members to abide by the law and stop stealing and relying on God speaking tongues. You are crazy…those speaking in tongues they are crazy. Go and work, I will tell you the truth. I burst my head here thinking how I am going to make money and create jobs for the youth”, he stated.
He noted that its time Ghanaians use their brains and challenge who has stated in the Bible that they were created in his image.
