Ghanaian Artist Kuami Eugene has since been playing a dangerous game with the way he allegedly constantly steals songs from other artists
Kuami Eugene mostly samples songs from other artist for his song but most at times he does it without permission and when caught he claims music is all about Inspiration and that he was just inspired by the song.
Kuami Eugene has been caught so many times sampling songs from other artist. Currently a Nigerian artist has dragged him before the Accra High court for sampling his song without Permission.
The Nigerian artist identified as Ottomi Patrick Akhere aka Oduma Essan claim Kuami Eugene stole the concept and element of his song “Show Body”
According to the Nigerian Artist, He released his song “Show Body” in July 2020 followed up with a video in September 2020 and he spent good money promoting the song bother in Ghana and in Nigeria.
He claim a month after he released his single, Kuami Eugene also released a song and a Video titled “Show Body”
He claim Kuami Eugene’s work is a duplicate of his song because of the similarities of the Song and the same tittle.
He also revealed that his song was doing really well until Kuami Eugene released his version featuring Nigerian Artist Falz and since then theirs have taken his shine to the extent if people google “Show Boy” his own doesnt even come first even though his the original author.
