Ghanaian Youth Don’t Respect The Police-ACP Kwasi Ofori

ACP Kwasi Ofori, the Greater Accra Regional Police Operations Commander has said that for sometime now he has realized that most Ghanaian youth lack respect for the Police.

He made this comment following the Police’s clash with some campaigners of #fixthecountry agenda at the Accra High Court.

According to ACP Kwasi Ofori al lot of the Ghanaian youths do not respect owing to the attitude they portrayed when the police clashed with the #fixthecountry campaigners at the premises of the Accra High Court.

Speaking on Happy morning show he said; A lot of the youth these days do not show respect to state institutions. The Police will always remain Police at all times to make sure the law work. So if you are a young person and you feel you can push the police around and do whatever you like, then that is not so. Their plan was to do a demonstration from TUC to the court but the Police stopped them. They were forcefully giving T-shirts to unsuspecting people and the police dispersed them in line with the covid-19 protocols and the public order act.

The attitude of the #fixthecountry campaigners has given ACP Kwasi Ofori the impression that Ghanaian youth do no respect state institutions especially the police.
