One of the students who were earlier denied admission by the Achimota Senior High School, Oheneba Kwaku Nkrabea has finally been admitted by the school.
This comes after an Accra High court ruled in favour of the students with Attorney General Gofred Yeboah Dame also ntervening for the Rastafarian students.
According to the mother of the young boy, Manaa Myers her son and herself were welcomed to loud cheers from students and officials of the school also received them well despite the case still bein dragged.
“I was initially disturbed when the situation with the security people happened. I was asking myself if I did the right thing. Should I have listened to friends and family when they were saying that we should go to another school?
“But then when the Day Student Prefect came in, I just got so relieved. Also, you could see that Oheneba’s demeanor had changed the moment the lady approached us because she is also a student. So for her to be that warm, he felt welcome,” she stated.
Meanwhile Tyron Marhguy is yet to commence his admission process.
