A notorious armed robber after being arrested in the Ashanti Region on 22nd June 2021 attempted to escape from police custody but unfortunately got gunned down.

The robber, Iddrisu Adams well known as Koomi was apprehended by the Ashanti Regional Police Command in relation to a number of robberies.
Koomi attempted to escape on Wednesday when he was taking police officers hideouts he mentioned as where his accomplices were.
The police acted immediately by shooting him.
“The suspect was taken to the St. Martin’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead,” the police stated.
The police have advised Iddrisu Adams accomplice to surrender to the police.
