Latest report gathered from the world of football indicates that Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has purportedly been sacked from the Black Stars camp for showing up after the expected time without consent.
Reports circling on social media indicates that the Arsenal star showed up two days late in camp without seeking for consent from the handlers of the national team. The Black Stars are planned to play against Morocco and Ivory Coast in two high-profile global friendlies this week.
CK Akonnor’s side will take on the Atlas Lions on Tuesday, June 8 in Rabat, prior to playing against the Elephants on June 12 in Cape Coast. Partey is, notwithstanding, set to miss the two games after purportedly being sent home for his lateness to camp.
In the mean time, the Black Stars have landed in Rabat, where they’ll play Morocco in an international friendly.
