An Accra Circuit court has given professional boxer Braima Kamoko, also known as Bukom Banku, a GHC50,000 bail with two sureties. Recall that at Nima, an Accra suburb, Bukom Banku and his son were detained by the police after they stabbed a guy and made a ruckus.
Mustapha Kamoko, the son of BukomBanku, has been given a GHc50,000 bond with two sureties and is being charged with causing damage. Ishamel Neequaye, the plaintiff, said before the court that Bukom Banku provided his son Mustapha a broken bottle to use as a weapon to stab Ishmael.
The complainant, who was afterwards taken to the Korle Bu teaching hospital, was struck in the abdomen by the son of Bukom with the shattered bottle. Bukom Banku and his son have since pleaded not guilty with the case adjourned to the 10th of January 2023.
