John Dumelo has written a thought-provoking message on his Twitter account that has struck a chord with the majority of Ghanaians in the wake of the sad loss of the Black Stars from the 2022 World Cup at the hands of a familiar adversary Uruguay. According to him, if the Black Stars had advanced past the round of 16, the financial allotment for them should be utilized to purchase tables for children who often sit on the floor in class.
Given that Ghana is no longer vying for the grand prize in Qatar, the renowned actor and politician urged that the money be put to good use instead of being wasted by politicians. He wrote: The money supposed to be spent if we had qualified to the next round, can we use it to buy desks for students who still sit on the floor to learn?
