The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has congratulated the the Black Stars of Ghana following their win against the Super Nigeria.
The President in a video sighted on social media was seen thanking the Black Stars players for their victory and the wonderful birthday gift they gave him on his birthday.
The Black Stars of Ghana have on Tuesday 29th March secured themselves a ticket to Qatar 2022 World Cup as they beat Nigeria on away goals after a 1-1 draw in the second leg of their qualifying play-off.
The game was played at the Mooshood Abiola stadium in Nigeria.
Despite Nigerians anticipation for a victory, the Black Stars of Ghana were able to beat them to secure themselves a ticket to Qatar World Cup 2022.
