Founder and leader of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams have warned Ghanaians against their complacency in maintaining the country’s peace.
Speaking at a sermon on 27th February, 2022 he advised that law makers and security personnel pay attention to all signs on the wall and not dare or ignore it.
The Archbishop went on to use the Russia-Ukraine war to demonstrate how future happenings cast shadows on people.
He stressed that the war in Ukraine did not come over night and that all the signs were glaring at them especially their history speaks a lot about the signs.
“But for whatever reason, individuals get comfortable, lose the will to fight, and become self-absorbed and secure that they disregard others needs”.
“We must wakeup for Ghana-this nation, because there are signs on the wall; there are indicators. He stated.
“….I hope we don’t miss the indications. I hope the church and our politicians don’t miss the indications. I hope that we rise to the occasion and reverse the indications on the wall”.
“Beware when they proclaim peace, peace, because unexpected disaster like a woman in labour comes. Beware. We have never had war in Ghana. Ask Liberians and Somilaens. Ask Ethiopians or Africans about war.
