Famous Nigerian musician and record label owner David Adeleke born Davido has donated all the money he received from his friends and industry colleagues during his 100M challenge ahead of his birthday to orphanages across Nigeria.
The early target was for his friends to donate money for his birthday up to 100 M but at the end of the day the donations went beyond the initial target.
He then decided to add N50m to the amount he received and donate it to orphanages in his country.
The singer made revelations of what he intended doing with the money he received via a statement he issued on 20th September 2021.
Davido revealed that he intends to do a fundraising annually and give the money back to the poor.
Sharing a copy of he intent about the donation he wrote; ”We rise by lifting others”.
