Reports making the rounds is that member of Parliament for Madina, Lawyer Francis-Xavier Sosu was arrested in a rambo style while he was at Church on Sunday 31st October 2021.
The police has denied ever storming the Church to effect any arrest noting that any plain-clothed officers who stormed the premises of the Church was purposely for an intelligence purpose.
But reacting to the report on Mr. Francis-Xavier Sosu’s arrest the National Communication officer, Sammy Gyamfi has said that the arrest of the MP can only be experience only when the country has an Inspector General of Police who only thinks of media hype.
In a tweet he wrote; 2/2 This is what happens when you have a celebrity IGP who is only interested in media hype; a people who are easily hoodwinked by publicity stunts; and a #SerwaahBroniGov’t that majors in the minors.
