An 11-year-old girl has been stabbed in the Ashanti Region of Ghana by some unknown attackers and she is currently battling for her life at the Manhyia Government Hospital in the Region.
The victim identified as Adama Bawah was reportedly stabbed multiple times by her attackers at Akwatialine at a concealed area.
According to report the unfortunate incident took place on Friday 22nd October when the young lady’s dad sent her to buy food for him at around 7:00 PM.
The mother of the 11-year-old victim, Mariam Hudu wants the Police to bring the perpetrators to book.
“I am very worried with what happened to my daughter. I’m hoping the police arrest the perpetrator and punish him accordingly,” she said.
Assemblyman for Akwatialine electoral area Ali Ahmed has also expressed shock over the 11-year-old girl’s attack.
He assured residents that the community watchdog committee will man up to ensure that such an incident doesn’t repeat itself.
