Celebrated Ghanaian actress Efia Odo has shared with fans how growing up with a single parent felt like in an interview with Peace FM.

According to the young actress, growing up hasn’t been an easy one for her as she never had a father figure in her life.
She noted that despite having a step father it felt like he still didn’t have a father because he never played any daddy role in her life.
She disclosed that she only got close to her father after she relocated for the USA to Ghana and even with that her relationship with him hasn’t been a good one.
Surprisingly she added that she wishes she could really mean when she tells him she loves him but she can’t because his dad is a total stranger to her.
