Former Real Madrid Star ”Cristiano Ronaldo” Thanks Edinson Cavani For Handing Over Man United’s No 7. Jersey

Former Real Madrid playmaker, Cristiano Ronaldo, has said thanks to his Manchester United colleague Edinson Cavani in the wake of getting the No 7 shirt at the club.

As per the report, Ronaldo applauded Cavani for the “extraordinary motion” of giving over the No 7 shirt as Ronaldo returns from international break.

36-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo rejoined United from Juventus this late spring, getting back to the club 12 years subsequent to leaving for Real Madrid.

The former Real Madrid star wore the No 7 during his days at United, during which he showed up and scored 118 goals, helping the club win nine prizes including three Premier League titles and the 2008 Champions League.

In any case, presently following Ronaldo’s return, Cavani will change to No 21, the number he wears for Uruguay, while Ronaldo wears the No 7 jersey.

This is what Cristiano Ronaldo had to say on Mancheter United’s Twitter account;

”I wasn’t sure if it would be possible to have the number 7 shirt again, so I would like to say a huge thank you to Edi for this incredible gesture”.
