A student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science And Technology has been sacked from the school for stealing laptops from the school’s library.
According to a communique from the school, Mr. Dwumah Ramsay Ohene-Tutu stole the laptops on different occasions from the school’s library.
“Two other students Mr. Rexford Joseph Bonney and Mr. Baffour Owusu Konadu have been rusticated for two [2021/2022 & 2022/2023] and one [2021/2022] academic years for involvement in the unauthorized installation of ‘Odikor’ at Unity hall and gross misconduct and bringing the same of the University into disrepute, respectively”.
One other student identified as Mr. Patrick Dwamena Sekyere has also been suspended indefinitely for extorting money from some students with the promise that he get them accommodation at GUSS and SRC hostel.
According to the school, all stakeholders of the school are being informed about the incident.
