31 Northern Lawyer has volunteered to defend alleged HushPuppi’s accomplice Abba Kyari after the USA FBI issued an Arrest Warrant for him
It was reported here earlier that Popular Nigerian Police commissioner Abba Kyari was accused of being involved in a $1.1 million online scum with popular Internet fraudster Hushuppi who is currently severing his jail sentence in a Jail in USA.
Barrister Bappah Salisu who spoke to the lawyers from 19 Northern state in the country revealed the shocking details on the 11th of August 2021 in a statement which he issued in Abuja
According the 31 lawyers, their decision to offer free services to Abba Kyari comes after a recent call by the coalition of Northern groups to preserve his fundamental human right after an arrest warrant for his arrest was issued by a Court in the USA.
In his words, he said “We would raise questions involving the possibility of breaches to Kyari’s fundamental right entrenched in Article 6 and 7 of the African charter on Human and people right which essentially state that every individual shall have the right to liberty and to the security of his person and every individual shall have the right to have his cause heard'”
