Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were all smiles as they reunited with Oprah Winfrey at a star-studded event hosted by Kevin Costner.
The Royal couple made an appearance at the actor’s One805 Live charity event for first responders on Friday evening, with the event held at Kevin’s $26 million polo field in Santa Barbara, which happens to be just up the road from the Duke and Duchess’ sprawling family pad in Montecito.
The star-studded event was attended by the likes of Oprah Winfrey, who interviewed the Sussexs in 2021, and Ellen DeGeneres, with the couple looking right at home surrounded by Hollywood royalty. While rubbing shoulders with the famous attendees, Prince Harry wore an all-black look while Meghan opted for a monochromatic ensemble.
While Harry looked lowkey and effortlessly cool in his shirt, which had the first couple of buttons undone, Meghan oozed Hollywood glamour. With her raven locks slicked back into a chic up-do, the Duchess looked elegant and classy as she stood on-stage.
Kevin Costner spoke at his event, with him giving a speech to the guests in attendance. He addressed the attendees when he said: “Good Afternoon everyone, I get asked a lot by my friends who have no manners. ‘Kev, what’s this place cost, what’s it worth?’ I can just simply tell you on a day like today, it’s worth every penny.”
He went on: “We can celebrate people that you’d maybe never meet, the ones who are the first to rush in,’ he added. ‘It’s a place where I’ve had a lot of good luck in my life and I try to not put a wall around it.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who stepped down as senior working Royals in 2020 and moved to California, were then welcomed onto the stage as special guests. The former Suits actress then presented Kevin with an award before walking around the venue to greet other guests who were attending the event.
As the couple mingled in the VIP area, they were stopped by Katy Perry’s mum and dad. The two couples then posed for a sweet selfie. And later Harry was spotted dancing while Meghan chatted to other attendees.
This comes after Meghan and Harry looked smitten in Dusseldorf, Germany while attending the 2023 Invictus Games. Harry flew out to Europe a few days before his wife as he was due to open the event, with Meghan then joining him for the last half of the Games and even attending the closing ceremony.
