Ghana’s Black Maiden have been banned from the FIFA U17 Women’s African Qualifiers in the next two editions following age cheating.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) have also been fined $100,000 by the Confederation of African Football.
The ban comes after a Moroccan protested that Nancy Amoh and Rasheeda Shahabu faked their birth date information although they were above 17.
A protest was filed against Ghana by Moroccans after they lost 2:0 in the first leg in Ghana in the Qualifiers for the U-17 Women’s World Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium.
