He beat the likes of Sarkodie, Kuami Eugene, Black Sherif and many others to become the ultimate winner of the 23rd edition of the VGMA.
Kidi who was so excited showed appreciation to his team, fans, family and mum for believing in him and giving him the maximum support.
He also won categories like the Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year, Album/ EP of the Year, Best Afrobeat/Afropop of the Year and Best Reggae/ Dancehall Song of the Year.
Black Sherif also won the New Artiste of the year and Joe Mettle also bagged the Gospel Artiste of the Year.
