Popular Kumawood actress Matilda Asare is said to have named her son after President Nana Akufo-Addo and scores were wondering why she named her son after the President.

Matilda Asare in an interview on a yet to be aired Atuu programme stated that she wasn’t the one who named her son after Nana Addo but her husband.
She mentioned that her husband is a fan of Nana Addo as well as herself so he suggested they named the child after Nana Addo.
When asked what the President did for her don after showing taking her son to him she said he only blessed him.
It appears after Matilda’s son was named after Nana Addo he never gave the little boy anything.
