Ghanaian actress who is found of critiquing political leaders, Lydia Forson has reacted to the manner in which the cedi keeps depreciating while the dollar increases astronomically under the Nana Addo led administration.
The actress can’t fathom on why the Vice President of Ghana who has a background in Economics as well as the head of Ghana’s Economic Management Team has been able to do nothing than to only speak bug grammar while the cedi performs badly before the dollar.
Lydia Forson noted that when the cedi got close to GHS4.00 under erstwhile President Mahama’s administration a lot of Ghanaians were really angry but now things have gone worse.
This indirectly means the actress wants the same energy to be directed towards the current administration now that things have gone bad.
“What a time! I still remember when the dollar was heading to almost GH4 under the previous government. The way we bore! Now a dollar is almost GH 8 and our economic gurus who held conferences with PowerPoints haven’t been able to do much but still speak bl3.”
