The Second Lady of Ghana Samira Bawumia has expressed optimism in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) breaking the eight cycle.

Samira Bawumia who was speaking to the youth of the NPP in London at an event held by the youth-wing in London stated that nothing is going to stop the party from breaking the eight.
”We are going to break the eight Insha Allah. With an energized youth front and committed party and nothing, nothing can stop us”. she said to a cheering youth in London.
The second Lady further said that the youth of the NPP have strong in the party because it is focused on developing the country.
Meanwhile the NPP party is hoping to break the eight-year cycle between itself and the National Democratic Party.
