Nigerian Artistes Are Copying Ghanaian Artistes, Using Local Languages In Their Songs-Akwaboah

The ‘Obiaa’ hitmaker Akwaboah strongly believe that majority of Nigerian artistes copy from Ghanaian artistes as they now copy some local dialects from Ghanaian artistes.

Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye, Akwaboah noted that it’s never true that Ghanaian artistes copy from their Nigerian counterparts.

”It’s a lie that Ghanaian artistes are copying Nigerians by using some of their local languages in our songs”.

”The truth is that nowadays Nigerian artistes are rather using some Ghanaian local languages in their songs”, he told Amansan Krakye.

Backing his point with evidence he mentioned that words like ‘Odo yewu and Ma nante saa’ can be heard in Nigerian songs lately.

”When you listen to their songs you hear words like Odo yewu in their music and other words in twi.”

”So it is they rather copying our languages like Ma nante saa so they are rather using our words in their songs”, Akwaboah said.
