Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin has stated without mincing words that he will get the Marshals to arrest any member of Parliament who misbehave in Parliament.
He noted that the happenings in Parliament in recent times are unacceptable.
“I will be compelled to get the Marshal to get people arrested and sent out”. What is happening in Parliament is completely unacceptable and I am not sure you have an appreciation of the temperature of the country neither am I sure you know the auduous nature of the responsibility that has been placed on your shoulders.
“You are all matured adults, what I am taking about (chatter when he is entering the chamber) is still happening”, the speaker stated in Parliament on Wednesday 23rd, 2022.
