President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has reacted to the terrific explosion which occurred at Apiate near Bogo in the Western Region of Ghana on Thursday 20th January 2022.
According to the President he received briefing on the circumstances that led to an explosion in Apiate near Bogoso, in the Western Region which resulted in the loss of lives and the destruction of properties belonging to residents.
In a tweet, the President mentioned that he has instructed NADMO to see to it that rapid relief is brought to residents of the town.
Government will spare no effort to ensure a rapid return to a situation of normalcy for residents of Apiate” Nana Addo tweeted.
Meanwhile Vice President Dr. Bawumia led a National Emergency team to Apiate to visit victims of Thursday’s explosion to come up with the way forward.
