Family of six including a man, his wife, their three children and an in-law have all died in a road accident at Hwediem near Nkawie in the Atwima Nwabiagya South of the Ashanti Region.

The unfortunate incident took place on Saturday 8th January 2022.
The family were said to have attended a wedding at Bibiani in the Western Region and were returning home when they met their unfortunate demise.
According to a source at the Nkawie Police station the vehicle in which the family were on board veered off the road and landed in a nearby river following a failed over taking.
After the car landed in the river, the passengers of the car got drowned leading to their death.
