The former Deputy Information Minister Felix Ofosu Kwakye has stated that what will be broken in the year 2024 is the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) horrible leadership.
He makes this comment in the wake of the NPP’s goal of maintaining power beyond 2024 which it has been termed as ‘Breaking the Eight”.
Although the party is yet to select it’s flagbearer, John Boadu and many other executives of the party strongly believe the party will hold unto power beyond 2024 while the National Democratic Congress (NDC) remain in opposition.
”When it rains in the NPP it pours! now there is a tussle over the attempt to give one flagbearer hopeful a near 40,000 votes advantage through some strange Nasara arrangement . About the only thing that will be broken in 2024 is the horrible leadership they have provided Ghanaians leading to total mismanagement of the economy and unprecedented hardships”, he said while reacting to NPP’s breaking the eight claim.
There has been rumours that the Agric Minister will be contesting the 2024 flagbearer race along with Trade Minister, Alan Kyerematen and Dr. Bawumia.
