Legendary Ghanaian dancehall artist Emmanuel Samini well known in showbiz as Samini has stated categorically that he will not be the one to determine whether times are hard or not but rather the Ghanaian populace.
Speaking in an interview the staunch member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has said that the fact that the masses have expressed concern about current hardship in the country means that times are hard.
Speaking on the United Showbiz on Saturday 18th December 2021 he said; ”If the masses say something, it means there is an iota of truth in there. Today in Ghana, if you listen to the people of Ghana today, on average, a Ghanaian will tell you that times are hard.”
”So it is not me who will be asked if what the President said during his campaign which I supported has been done”, he noted.
Meanwhile during the 202 election campaign, Samini was one of the top artistes and celebrities who campaign for the party to retain power.
The dancehall artistes mounted many platforms and stages to campaign for the NPP at many places that the party campaigned.
