Ghanaian Hiplife artiste Kwaw Kese known in real life as Emmanuel Kofi Botwe has said that the country is still struggling to develop because many people lack the courage to speak up when things go bad.
Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Kastle Entertainment Show he noted that the ‘Fa Ma Nyame’ (Give it to God) syndrome in the country is one of the contributing factors of the country’s under development.
”This fa ma Nyame give to God syndrome isn’t helping us but it’s true that we are children of God so we ought to do the right thing,” he stated.
”This give it to God and ain’t you afraid stuff, what crime have I committed to be being afraid of expressing my views”.
”I am saying the truth no wonder our development has stunted in most places and we lack basic amenities because people are scared to speak out”, he went on to say.
”We have to talk about it because Ghana’s money is for all of us and it’s only when you speak out that will make the President respond to fix the problems”, he concluded.
