Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai has called on citizens not to endorse the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the pending 2023 election.
The governor urged citizens not to vote for PDP while addressing a gathering at an empowerment programme in Kaduna on Wednesday, 24th November.
He noted that when the PDP is voted into office they will destroy his legacies as well as drag the state backwards.
Mr. El-Rufai urged citizens to rather campaign for the next candidate he will endorse as his successor in the 2023 election adding that they should trust him on who he will choose.
“Some people said that what we have done now cannot be reversed, wrong. A bad governor, a PDP governor can reverse this in six months,” he stated.
“Don’t make the mistake of voting PDP back into office in 2023. If you do, things will go back to what they used to be. While we go through our process as APC and bring out a candidate and I endorse that candidate, please trust me that that person will be the better governor of Kaduna from 2023 and beyond.”
