After less than 10 minutes of action Ghana suffered it first casualty when Mohammed Kudus pulled out. He was then replaced by Daniel Kofi Kyere.
Jordan Ayew reportedly missed Ghana’s first chance of scoring after he ballooned the ball above the post before Kofi Kyere smashed one wide.
The Bafana Bafanas in the second half of the game stood tall at scoring on a number of times but they were denied that privilege by goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott.
Getting to the end of the match the South Africans heated the match as they wanted a goal but luck was not on their side.
