The 8th Parliament of Ghana has paid tribute to the late Kofi Adda who passed on not long ago.
The late politician served in parliament haven represented the Navrongo constituency for more than ten years and he also served as Minister of Aviation, Minister of Energy and other portfolios prior to his demise.
The MP for Tolon constituency speaking about the late politician described him as who contributed greatly towards the country’s development.
”He is a man who really lived his and contributed immensely to the development of the country. If we all remember in 2005 when he was appointed Minister for Manpower and Employment, he brought a lot of reform to that sector and in 2006 he was made the Minister of Energy. It was during his term as Minister of Energy that we discovered oil.”
The late politician is a stalwart of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) who served as MP for Navrongo Central for thirteen years before he passed on.
