The Ghana National Fire Service and Immigration Service has opened its doors for new recruits and various centers for the registration has seen huge crowd throng in for the exercise.
These Ghanaian youth who have crowded the various centers all doing their best to get enlisted.
Despite many unemployed Ghanaians doing well to get enlisted but there has been a popular notion discouraging some of these youth that some people with protocol have already been picked leaving no room for any vacancy.
However the Regional Commander of the Accra Region ACFO1Alhaji Nuhu Gibril has refuted this notion.
“There is no protocol. The system is there, the requirement is there, the people have applied. They are going through the second stage. You could see that they have been arranged orderly. Those who are going for body selection are going, those who are going for height checks are there. Those going for documentation, etc. the process is going on and that is the process we are following,” he said in an interview on TV3.
Meanwhile the youth are still in long queues as the exercise is on the third day since it commenced trying to get enlisted.
