Celebrated broadcast Journalist Afia Pokua well known as Vim lady has asked former President John Mahama to continue with the one District One Factory initiative when he takes over power from the NPP.
She strongly believes that industrialization and agribusiness will go a long way to see the country into prosperity.
”Left with me the former President John Dramani Mahama should continue with the one District, one Factory initiative when he takes over government. If you don’t know and you come and play politics…I trust President Mahama and I know he will continue”, she stated on Okay FM’s Egyaso Gyaso show on Monday 25th October.
She went on to say that this programme when maintained will be a sure way to create jobs for many unemployed youth in the country.
”If you don’t create jobs by 2035 which the World Bank is predicting about 50% of the youth will die. The leadership of the country must stop talking about GDP and using big grammar. They should start translating those big grammar into jobs. Create the jobs”, she noted.
