A South African woman identified as Nomia Rosemary Ndlovu has reportedly killed 5 members of her family and her boyfriend for an estimated 1.4m rand equivalent to $95.000 in insurance cash.
According to report by BBC, the 46-year-old ex-policeman’s case has shocked South Africans to the core.
With the help of hitmen, Rosemary was able to murder her victims between 2012 and 2018 which was geared towards benefiting from their life-insurance payouts.
Still in her wicked element of wiping away her entire family for their life-insurance, she hired another hitman to kill her sister but this time the person informed the police.
She is said to be awaiting sentencing next month.
The ex-police woman was found guilty over the course of her three-month trial for attempted murder of her mother Maria Mushwana and insurance fraud after making away with 1.4m equivalent to $95,000.
In court the prosecutor disclosed how Ndlovu systematically arranged the funerals of her victims and killed them.
Witness Madala Homu, her cousin was her first victim whom she killed in March 2012, followed by her sister, boyfriend, niece and two nephews.
She was reported to have poisoned and strangled her sister Audrey Somisa Ndlovu in 2013 even though she usually hire hitmen to do the killing.
In March 2018, her wicked plans came to an end after she hired another hit man to eliminate her sister and her five kids but got reported by the hitman. The police then arranged with the man and a recording of her talking about her plans was obtained.
