We reported earlier that two police officers who were described as highly-trained lost their lives in line of duty in a road crash on the Walewale-Bolgatanga road while responding to an emergency.
Three others who were also members of a five member team that was responding to an emergency on the route were reported to be in a critical condition.
The police has announced that the mortal remains of the fallen heroes and the three fighting for their lives were airlifted from the place of the incident to Accra on 22nd October 2021.
This has got many Ghanaians applauding the newly appointed Inspector General of Police Dr. George Akuffo Dampare for a great change in the Police Service.
