The Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II has commended the President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo over his policies, programmes and developmental projects his government have embarked on in the Greater Accra Region that has had tremendous impact.
The Ga Mantse who addressed the President when he paid a courtesy call to him as part of his working visit in the 16 regions told the President that he and his people are seeing development in the Region.
“Your Excellency, we are seeing development in Accra. But we encourage you to do more,” Ga Mantse told Nana Akufo-Addo.
He continued to say the Ga state “recognizes and appreciates the developmental projects being undertaken in the Ga State, for example the James Town Fishing Harbour and the Salaga Market.”
“The Chiefs of the Ga State shall collaborate with President at all times to ensure that Accra becomes the cleanest city in Africa. In that regard, all the Chiefs in the Ga State pledge to be ambassadors in promoting the clean Accra Agenda,” Ga Mantse pledged.
“The Ga Traditional Council pledges to maintain peace within the Ga State and to also resolve all chieftaincy disputes within the shortest possible time to facilitate the development of the Ga State and Ghana as a whole,” he added.
