Senior Lecturer with the University of Ghana, Dr. Kobby Mensah has shared his thought on President Nana Addo’s response to the Aflao chief regarding completion of an E-block in the Aflao area.
Dr. Kobby has described the President’s response to the chief as an unfortunate one.
On Wednesday 20th October, Torgbui Adzonu-Gaga Amenya Fiti V gave government a 4-month ultimatum to see to it that the school building is completed.
Since 2016 the school building hasn’t been attended to despite being 90 percent complete.
The Chief in the Aflao area demanded that the E-blocks gets completed when some minority members on Parliament’s Education Committee toured the E-blocks.
However Nana Addo who was in the studios of Peace FM on Thursday as part of his tour to the Greater Accra Region reacting to the chief’s ultimatum questioned if the chief is the one to give the Education ministry ultimatum adding that if the chief is tired he should complete the School building himself.
”This is quite an unfortunate political communication coming from the President”, Kobby Mensah said.
