The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Bosiako popularly called Chairman Wontumi can’t fathom on why a stateman like John Mahama will speak without speaking to facts.
According to him in recent times John Mahama doesn’t speak to facts and figures anymore because he wants to stay relevant.
He mentioned that the former President is mad for saying that soldiers forced the EC to declare the 2020 election in favour of the NPP.
Chairman Wontumi reminded Mr. Mahama that even when he had his friend Charlotte Osei in office the NPP still beat the NDC with over 1 million votes.
”John Mahama is getting mad. You can clearly tell that he is mad. How can he claim that soldiers forced the EC to declare the 2020 elections in NPP’s favor. In 2016, with his best friend Charlotte Osei as EC Chair the NPP beat him with over 1 million votes. In 2020 we beat him again with half of what we got in 2016 and he wants to attribute that to the presence of soldiers? The man is mad”, he stated.
Chairman Wontumi made this comment following a comment made by the former President John Mahama that the NPP didn’t win the 2020 election.
