Two armed robbers, Sameed Issa and Ivor Constance Kwahie have been jailed for 12 years by the Fiapre court in the Bono Region on 15th October.
The two robbers were said to have robbed their victim of three iPhones, a wristwatch, a car key and GHS350. at gun point but got arrested through a police-public collaboration on 11th Octobers.
In a kidnap case, one Tahidu Adam aged, 38 was kidnapped at Dakpen in the Northern Region on 14th October 2021.
Fortunately the victim was rescued by the help of some community members with the two kidnappers, Inusah Abdulai and Amadu Ahmed subsequently arrested.
Items retrieved on them were five live AAA cartridges and locally manufactured pistol.
The Ghana police has commended the two Regional Police Commanders for strengthening police-community partnership geared towards maintaining peace and security in their various jurisdiction.
The police administration has also expresses its gratitude to the leaders and people of the two communities, Fiapre and Dakpen for their good work done.
