Recall that years ago President Nana Addo in an interview on Al Jazeera’s Talk to Al Jazeera hosted by Jane Dutton that even though the laws of Ghana criminalizes same-s3x marriages legalizing it in future is bound to happen.
In the interview he noted that the law is against homos3xuality because there no enough activist pushing or championing its legalization.
Currently in Ghana same-s3x marriage is illegal under the Ghanaian criminal law (chapter 6 of the criminal code , 1960 as amended by the Criminal Code (Amendment) Act, 2003). But its unknown as to whether that of females is illegal.
This sparked outrage from Ghanaians at the time as they condemned the President’s comment as far as homos3xuality is concerned.
Well former Deputy Minister for Youth and Sport under the NDC administration has said that Nana Addo will fail in his devilish agenda on homos3xuality.
He strongly believes that Nana Addo is in support of the legalization of LGBTQ+.
He made this comment while sharing a throwback video of the interview.
