The Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye has advised President Nana Addo to stand firm in the Lord and not give chance to pressure from the Western world to legalize LGBTQ+ in the country.
He went on to say that if the President believes in the country and the battle is still the lord’s like the President indicated some time back then he should not kowtow to pressure from the Western world on the legalization of gay and lesbianism.
”The President is someone I really like just because of two things he said that resonated well with me and my believes. When he said I believe in Ghana and he also said Ghana beyond aid. Sometimes the pressure from outside, we have heard the American President, the British Prime Minister, threatening us that if we don’t give in to LGBTQ+ agenda we are not going to do this. I want to encourage the President if the battle is the lord’s he should let this one too be the lord’s and then he should continue to believe in Ghana and then he should not just pay lip service to Ghana Beyond Aid”, he said.
He made this comment while speaking on Asempa FM.
Fifteen million people have TIN numbers in this country but only 2 percent pay tax so let’s continue to find ways of generating revenue in this country and we will be able to manage our affairs instead of all this stress from the West and all that if you don’t accept this we are not going to get aid. Lets move away from this begger mentality
