The United States of America is expected to Visa ban Ghana and also sanction the West African country over its current controversial Anti-LGBT bill. Earlier this month some members of Ghana’s parliament’s pushed the bill into motion. According to them the Bill is a Ghanaian Family Values bill which is said to protect the values and ethics safeguarding Ghana’s culture and tradition, but some critics said in infringed on human rights and grossly violates human’s freedom
According to the fighters of this bill, this Bill set in motion to pass at Parliament it’s a Graveyard for gross violation of human rights in Ghana. They also added, this bill does not set to only prosecute and persecute LGBTQI plus people, but also said to incarcerate any persons who fails to notify the police on any LGBTQI person living in the country and practicing such Acts. Persons involve in LGBTQI could faced up to 35 years in prison if found guilty and in other cases could be fined huge sums of money in court if guilty of similar charges.
