On Sunday 10th October 2021, the Accra Regional Police Command arrested two suspected robberies at Oyibi, a suburb of Accra as it thwarted a robbery attempt.
One of the suspects, Richard Narh aged 45 got accessed to the house of his victim by chiseling into the fence wall of the house.
According to a release from the police, the prime suspect, Richard broke open the burglar-proof window of the kitchen then found his way into the building.
Richard attacked one occupant of the building and that was when the police had a call concerning the robbery.
The police arrived at the scene and arrested Narh. two mobile phones were retrieved from him as well as one one Apple tablet and other valuables.
Preliminary investigation into the matter has already began.
“Suspect Richard Narh mentioned suspect Karimu Seidu as the one who buys his stolen booty anytime he goes to steal. He led the police to arrest him at his hideout in Nima.
“Police investigation revealed that suspect Richard Narh, imploring the same modus [operandi] had been involved in other break-ins within the region and had been caught on surveillance cameras,” the police release stated.
